From the 1st of December 2008 we became a fully owned subsidiary of Pandrol International Ltd* the worlds leading designer and manufacturer of rail fastening systems. The head office including R&D and prototyping is based in the city of Hudiksvall, Sweden.
Rosenqvist Rail AB was established by Mr. Anders Rosenqvist in 1994, who at the time had an assignment for the Swedish State Railroads to upgrade part of the Swedish east coast line. While working on his excavator he realised the enormous potential for efficiency improvements in construction and maintenance of railway. This led him to develop new methods and to design various equipment to speed up and improve productivity of work on railways.
The knowledge of practical work on the track that Anders Rosenqvist and his crew has acquired since then has been successfully transferred into continually improved methods and equipment for the benefit of the railway industry.
